Instant download, clear PDF, cute result. What else do you need? It even lists how much yarn you'll need in yards, which saved me from a mid-project yarn run.
Instant download, clear PDF, cute result. What else do you need? I'm left-handed and usually struggle with patterns, and this one still taught me something. Made two: one for my Etsy shop and one that is NOT leaving my house. Great TV-watching project. Will be making this again.
Could not be happier with this. I'm left-handed and usually struggle with patterns, and this one still taught me something. Made it for my goddaughter and they have not put it down since. There's a picture for every tricky part, including how to attach the little tail. Used some hand-dyed merino I'd been saving and it came out a chunky 10 inches with bulky yarn. Skipped the safety eyes and embroidered them for a baby-safe version. Pattern made that easy.
Easiest pattern I've bought in a long time. I squeeze crochet in during nap time and this was perfect for me. Made it in a flight to Denver with velvet yarn (not recommended for beginners!). Did the round ears in a contrasting color, highly recommend. Zero complaints.
Good pattern, would recommend with a caveat. This is the kind of pattern I can make on repeat for markets. My one gripe is the round ears took a few tries to get symmetrical.

Okay WOW. It's the first thing I've finished in months and that feels good. Big readable font, nothing crammed, and the stitch counts actually add up (I checked every single one). Already eyeing the other animals.
Could not be happier with this. Crocheting this was honestly relaxing.
I've already made three of these. It even lists how much yarn you'll need in yards, which saved me from a mid-project yarn run. I now own six of their patterns. Zero duds.
Perfect from start to finish. Took me a long car ride start to finish including sewing on the chunky paws. Gave it to my husband (he loves them). I've been asked for four more. My new go-to gift.
Absolutely adorable. Made two: one for the nursing home craft table and one that is NOT leaving my house. My new go-to gift.
Decent, but I expected a bit more. Checkout was easy and the file was in my email in seconds. Clear US terms, abbreviations listed up front, no weird jargon. It's the first thing I've finished in months and that feels good. Did the muzzle in a contrasting color, highly recommend. I expected more hand-holding for a 'beginner' pattern on the little tail section.
Absolutely adorable. Perfect weekend project when you don't want to think too hard. It was for my book club swap and it was the hit of the party.
Cutest thing I've ever made. I make these for my Etsy shop, and this one still taught me something. Skipped the safety eyes and embroidered them for a baby-safe version. Pattern made that easy. It went to my grandson and now the whole family wants one.
Hands down the best Polar Bear pattern out there. I'm newly retired and finally have time, and this one still taught me something. Made it for myself, honestly and they have not put it down since. Instructions are short and direct. No life story at the top, just the pattern. Chef's kiss.
Solid pattern. I squeeze crochet in during nap time and I had no trouble at all. The little tail is worked in one piece, which means less sewing. Thank you!! My Polar Bear came out bigger than I expected using chunky chenille. Made two: one for our new neighbors and one that is NOT leaving my house. Skipped the safety eyes and embroidered them for a baby-safe version. Pattern made that easy. The first round of the muzzle was a bit confusing until I reread it.
It's fine. I sell at craft fairs so I was nervous, but it went fine. It went to my grandson and now the whole family wants one. Used velvet yarn (not recommended for beginners!) and it came out about 6 inches tall. Way better written than the free version I tried first. Added a keychain loop to the top, now it lives on my bag. Finished it, it's cute, but assembly was more frustrating than fun.
Absolutely adorable. Download link came through instantly after checkout. Will be making this again.
I rarely leave reviews but this earned one. The PDF arrived in my inbox before I'd even closed the tab. I've bought Polar Bear patterns from three other shops and this is the only one I finished. Adding the bundle to my cart as I type this.
Happy overall. It went to a teacher appreciation gift and now the whole family wants one. Sewing on the chunky paws took longer than the whole body, but that's amigurumi.
Hands down the best Polar Bear pattern out there. Used a 4mm hook and Caron Simply Soft and it came out bigger than I expected. Instructions are short and direct. No life story at the top, just the pattern. My new go-to gift.
This was a joy to make. Compared to the ones on Etsy this was cheaper and clearer. My new go-to gift.
This pattern made me feel like I actually know what I'm doing. I crochet a few evenings a week, and this one still taught me something. Way better written than the free version I tried first. It even lists how much yarn you'll need in yards, which saved me from a mid-project yarn run. Made it in under 3 hours with a 4mm hook and Caron Simply Soft. I now own six of their patterns. This pattern made me feel like I actually know what I'm doing. I crochet on my breaks and I had no trouble at all. A Secret Santa squealed. Mission accomplished. I usually have to rewrite patterns in my own notes. Not this one. Thanks for a great pattern!
Bought it at 11pm, finished by 2am, no regrets. Crochet is my anxiety outlet and I had no trouble at all. The shaping on the chunky paws is clever. Didn't expect that from a 'beginner' pattern. Skipped the safety eyes and embroidered them for a baby-safe version. Pattern made that easy. Way better written than the free version I tried first. Crocheting this was honestly relaxing. Will be making this again.
This was a joy to make. I've bought Polar Bear patterns from three other shops and this is the only one I finished. Took me a rainy afternoon start to finish including sewing on the round ears. Clear US terms, abbreviations listed up front, no weird jargon. Made a mini version with thinner yarn and the proportions held up. Would give six stars if I could.
Decent, but I expected a bit more. I make toys for the children's ward, and this one still taught me something. My Polar Bear came out roughly 8 inches using Red Heart Super Saver. Perfect weekend project when you don't want to think too hard. The chunky paws instructions tripped me up and I had to frog it twice.
Nearly five stars. The photos for the assembly step are what sold me. No guessing where the little tail goes. Wish it came with a two-color variation, but easy to improvise.
Finished my Polar Bear last night! Customers at my booth keep asking which one is the Polar Bear. My new go-to gift.
Cute end result, frustrating middle. Crochet is my anxiety outlet, and this one still taught me something. The proportions are spot on. The little tail is the perfect size. Gave it to my niece. I've been asked for four more. The stitch count on one round of the muzzle didn't match for me (could be my error).
