Not bad, not amazing. Skipped the safety eyes and embroidered them for a baby-safe version. Pattern made that easy. I expected more hand-holding for a 'beginner' pattern on the dorsal fin section.
Finished my Orca last night! I crochet on my breaks and this was perfect for me. I left out the dorsal fin by accident and honestly it still looks cute. It actually looks like the photo, which is rare for me. Big readable font, nothing crammed, and the stitch counts actually add up (I checked every single one). It was for my grandson and it was the hit of the party.
Absolutely adorable. Made two: one for my goddaughter and one that is NOT leaving my house.
Hands down the best Orca pattern out there. It went to my boyfriend and now the whole family wants one. Adding the bundle to my cart as I type this.
Great pattern, not quite perfect. I make toys for the children's ward, and this one still taught me something. Finished in a week of lunch breaks. The dorsal fin is my favorite part. Made it for a teacher appreciation gift and they have not put it down since. A left-handed note would've been nice, but I figured it out. Four solid stars.

Decent, but I expected a bit more. The proportions are spot on. The white patches is the perfect size. I left out the dorsal fin by accident and honestly it still looks cute. The tail instructions tripped me up and I had to frog it twice.
Love love love this pattern. I used a slightly bigger hook so it'd be huggable and it came out great. I'd forgotten how fun amigurumi is.
Finished my Orca last night! Crochet is my anxiety outlet and I had no trouble at all. The PDF arrived in my inbox before I'd even closed the tab. It was for my mom for Mother's Day and it was the hit of the party. Perfect weekend project when you don't want to think too hard. I swapped the colors to match my team and it still worked perfectly. Adding the bundle to my cart as I type this.
Good value, a few notes. I liked that the color changes for the white patches are spelled out instead of just 'switch colors here'. The tail instructions could use one more photo.
Easiest pattern I've bought in a long time. I made it in chunky chenille and the dorsal fin still came out crisp. Clear US terms, abbreviations listed up front, no weird jargon. Did the white patches in a contrasting color, highly recommend. Gave it to my grandson. I've been asked for four more. Would give six stars if I could.
Perfect from start to finish. I had never crocheted an amigurumi before so I was nervous, but it went fine. Clear US terms, abbreviations listed up front, no weird jargon. Used Lion Brand Pound of Love and it came out roughly 8 inches. Can't wait for more from this shop.
Nearly five stars. I run a crochet club at my school and this was perfect for me. I usually have to rewrite patterns in my own notes. Not this one. Every round has a stitch count. That alone makes this better than half the patterns I've paid for. Took me longer than I expected, but that's probably on me. Would still buy again.
I've already made three of these. Big readable font, nothing crammed, and the stitch counts actually add up (I checked every single one). Zero complaints.
Absolutely adorable. I crochet on my breaks, and this one still taught me something. The PDF arrived in my inbox before I'd even closed the tab. Made a mini version with thinner yarn and the proportions held up.
10/10 would crochet again. I swapped the colors to match my team and it still worked perfectly. Can't wait for more from this shop.
My Orca is sitting on my desk right now and I can't stop smiling at it. I swapped the colors to match my team and it still worked perfectly.
Really nice pattern with one small gripe. I make these for my Etsy shop and I had no trouble at all. Big readable font, nothing crammed, and the stitch counts actually add up (I checked every single one). This is the kind of pattern I can make on repeat for markets. This one's for the nursing home craft table. Already planning the next one. Used worsted acrylic from my stash and it came out roughly 8 inches. Took me longer than I expected, but that's probably on me. Would still buy again.

Ok this is my new favorite pattern. Big readable font, nothing crammed, and the stitch counts actually add up (I checked every single one).
I screamed a little when I finished the face. I make these for my Etsy shop and this was perfect for me. This got me out of a crochet slump. I've bought Orca patterns from three other shops and this is the only one I finished. This is the kind of pattern I can make on repeat for markets. Used a 3.5mm hook and it came out roughly 8 inches. Already eyeing the other animals.
Worth every penny. Added a keychain loop to the top, now it lives on my bag. Go get it.
Bought it at 11pm, finished by 2am, no regrets. The pattern tells you exactly how far apart to put the safety eyes, which is the step I always ruin. Can't wait for more from this shop.
Very cute, minor hiccup. I liked that the color changes for the dorsal fin are spelled out instead of just 'switch colors here'. Only thing: I wish there was a video for attaching the dorsal fin.
Love love love this pattern. I usually have to rewrite patterns in my own notes. Not this one. The photos for the assembly step are what sold me. No guessing where the white patches goes. Go get it.
Worth every penny. My Orca came out perfect toddler size using a 4mm hook and Caron Simply Soft. It's the first thing I've finished in months and that feels good. Would give six stars if I could.
Happy overall. Crochet is my anxiety outlet and I had no trouble at all. The tail and the flippers are what make it look like an actual Orca instead of a blob. Did the tail in a contrasting color, highly recommend. Pages printed a little small on my printer. Zoomed in on my tablet instead. Still recommend.
Absolutely adorable. I'd forgotten how fun amigurumi is. There's a picture for every tricky part, including how to attach the flippers. Great for beginners, fun for everyone else.
Cutest thing I've ever made. I've been crocheting for 30+ years and I had no trouble at all. The instructions are written round by round with stitch counts at the end of every row, so I always knew if I'd messed up. Customers at my booth keep asking which one is the Orca. Made a mini version with thinner yarn and the proportions held up. Made two: one for my goddaughter and one that is NOT leaving my house. Go get it.

Bought this on a whim and I'm so glad I did. Great TV-watching project. The photos for the assembly step are what sold me. No guessing where the dorsal fin goes. It was for my Etsy shop and it was the hit of the party. The PDF arrived in my inbox before I'd even closed the tab.
